Secret discussions have brought Washington and Moscow to the eve of a nuclear disarmament conference. At the eleventh hour the Russians pull back. Washington's indignation turns to alarm when, after reading the 'mind' of a Russian computer, it finds out why. The Russians wrongly believe the U.S. is about to break through on a non-nuclear ultimate weapons system.
